Common questions (FAQs)
Here are answers to some of the most common questions about using Takers.
How long does it take to get paid?
Once your Take is approved (or auto-approved), your payment is released instantly to your Takers wallet.
When you withdraw to your bank account, it usually takes 1–3 business days, depending on your bank.
Can I cancel after assigning a Taker?
Yes, you can.
- Within the first 1 hour, you can cancel for free
- After that, a small fee may apply depending on how far the Take has progressed
What happens if a Taker misses the deadline?
We’ve built in a simple process to handle this:
- The Taker gets a reminder
- A 6-hour grace period starts
- If there’s still no progress, you can either cancel or extend the deadline
Do I need to pay cash?
No. All payments are handled inside the app.
This means your money is held safely in escrow and only released when the job is done.
How do I verify my account?
You can verify your account directly in the app using Dojah.
You may be asked to upload a valid ID and take a quick selfie. This helps keep the platform safe for everyone.
Can I be both a Poster and a Taker?
Yes. You can switch between posting tasks and offering services anytime.
What happens if there’s a problem?
You can report an issue directly from the Take screen.
Our support team will step in, review what happened, and help resolve it fairly.
Who do I contact for help?
