Payments and escrow for Posters

As a Poster, all payments on Takers are handled through a secure escrow system. This means your money is protected and only released when the job is done properly. How payment works 1. Accept an offer When you accept a Taker’s offer, the agreed amount is paid upfront and held securely in escrow (via our payment partner, Paystack). 2. Funds stay protected The money is held safely while the Taker completes the work. It isn’t released immediately. 3. Review the work Once the Taker marks the job as completed, you can review the result. 4. Approve and release payment If everything looks good, you approve the Take and payment is released to the Taker’s wallet. If you don’t respond If you don’t take action after completion, the system will automatically approve the Take after a set time. This ensures Takers are not left waiting indefinitely. If something isn’t right If you're not satisfied with the completed work, you can discuss it directly with the Taker through the chat and agree on next steps before approving the Take. Refunds If a Take is cancelled or something goes wrong, refunds follow the cancellation and dispute rules. Funds are returned to your Takers wallet once processed. Tip Always pay through the Takers app. Avoid sending money directly, it’s the only way to stay fully protected.
