Leaving reviews and handling issues

After a Take is completed, you can leave a review and report any issues directly in the app. Reviews help build trust and make it easier for others to choose who to work with. Leaving a review Once payment is approved, you’ll be asked to rate your experience. You can: - Give a 1–5 star rating - Write a short comment - Share what went well or what could be improved Reviews are visible on the Taker’s profile and help other Posters make better decisions. Reporting an issue If something didn’t go as expected: - Open the Take - Tap Report a Problem / Get help - Choose a reason - Add a short explanation and any evidence (photos, screenshots, chat messages) What happens next Once an issue is reported: - Both the Poster and Taker can share their side - Our support team reviews everything carefully - We make a fair decision based on the agreement, communication, and evidence Possible outcomes Depending on the situation, we may: - Issue a full refund to the Poster - Release full payment to the Taker - Split the payment between both parties How long does it take? Most issues are resolved within a few business days, depending on the complexity. Changing or cancelling a Take

Plans can change, and that’s okay. Takers gives you flexible options to cancel or update a Take depending on its stage. Cancelling before work starts - Within 1 hour of assigning You can cancel for free. No fee applies, and the Taker isn’t paid. - After 1 hour (before work starts) You can still cancel, but a small flat fee applies. The Taker isn’t compensated. Refunds are processed automatically to your Takers wallet. Cancelling after work has started If the Taker has already marked the Take as Started, cancelling will include a percentage-based fee. This helps compensate the Taker for time or effort already spent. Refunds are processed after a short review window to allow for any disputes. If the Taker hasn’t started on time If the Taker doesn’t start before the deadline: - They receive a reminder - A 6-hour grace period begins After that, you can: - Cancel the Take - Or extend the deadline If you cancel, your refund is processed after a short review period. Changing details instead of cancelling Sometimes it’s better to adjust the Take instead of cancelling. You can: - Update the task details, budget, or deadline - Message the Taker to keep everything clear Tip Only cancel when necessary. Clear communication and small adjustments can often keep things on track without starting over.

As a Poster, all payments on Takers are handled through a secure escrow system. This means your money is protected and only released when the job is done properly. How payment works 1. Accept an offer When you accept a Taker’s offer, the agreed amount is paid upfront and held securely in escrow (via our payment partner, Paystack). 2. Funds stay protected The money is held safely while the Taker completes the work. It isn’t released immediately. 3. Review the work Once the Taker marks the job as completed, you can review the result. 4. Approve and release payment If everything looks good, you approve the Take and payment is released to the Taker’s wallet. If you don’t respond If you don’t take action after completion, the system will automatically approve the Take after a set time. This ensures Takers are not left waiting indefinitely. What you’ll see in each offer - Profile photo and verification badge (via Dojah) - Ratings and reviews from past Posters - A short message explaining why they’re a good fit How to compare offers - Check reviews carefully Look at what past Posters are saying about their work. - Don’t focus only on price A slightly higher offer may come from a more reliable or experienced Taker. - Consider availability Choose someone who can deliver within your timeline. - Ask questions You can chat with any Taker before accepting their offer.
